Between Porto Cervo and Abbiadori

Abbiadori is a lovely hamlet, one of the small but very well known “fractions” of the town of Arzachena. Once a “stazzo”, a rural property, over time it has grown and become a reference thanks to the concentration of services available, including a bank and a pharmacy, a hairdresser’s salon, a beautician-an elegant destination waiting to be discovered, among splendid beaches and numerous cafés and restaurants.

Porto Cervo needs no introduction: it is the centre around which the tourist project of Costa Smeralda was developed. The dream began in 1962, thanks to the ingenious intuition of Ishmaelite prince Kharim Aga Khan, who imagined and built the Porto Cervo village and created a port, indispensable for the docking of yachts and sail boats, and building top-level services.

From the architectural point of view, the town of Porto Cervo, praised for its urban design, was built according to a medieval hamlet model: the piazza is its cornerstone, surrounded by apartments, boutiques and venues, and a church nearby. In 1967, in order to expand the tourism offer, Porto Cervo had two sports venues built, which are still up and running: Pevero Golf Club and Cervo Tennis Club.

In the 1980’s, the tourist port was opened, with room for more than 700 boats and modern support equipment. A top-notch structure in the entire Mediterranean basin. Porto Cervo is, to this day, a reference destination for the international tourism market, with its glamour intact.
